 Public School Checklist (abridged)
 Public School Inspection Checklist

Definition

Public Schools provide education up to 12th grade. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office performs annual inspections of all public schools in the unincorporated areas of Harris County (outside the city limits) and do not need to apply for an inspection. If your public school has not been inspected within the last year, please notify us. The following applies to hospitals and nursing homes in Harris County but outside city limits. To find out if you are in unincorporated Harris County (our jurisdiction) use our online jurisdiction lookup.

Results

Public School inspection results can now be obtained through the Fire Marshal's Records Search feature.  For summary information on the HCFMO Safe Schools Inspection Program please visit our reports and statistics page.
