Definitions
- Fiscal: Budget year for Harris County. The county fiscal year
begins on March 1st and ends on the last day of February. For example, fiscal year
2010 begins 3/1/2009 and ends 2/28/2010.
- Calendar: "Normal" year starting on New Year's Day. For example,
calandar year 2010 begins 1/1/2010 and ends 12/31/2010.
- NA: Not available, not applicable, or currently being developed. For questions please send an email to the

Note: The year for the annual report indicates the period the report (not the date created). Because of the nature of the reports statistical reports are created
after the reporting period has ended and strategic reports are listed for the year for which they are valid. For instance
2009 Public School Report (a statistical report) was created in 2010 and includes statistics for the year 2009 but the 2010 COOP (a stratechic report) applies to the calendar year 2010 even though the year 2010 has not yet ended.
