Harris County Code Word
The Harris County building official and the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office worked together to develop a list of codeword interpretations.  The purpose of these interpretations are to explain sections of the fire code that may otherwise be unclear.  To view these interpretations, please view the Harris County Codeword page.  If you have found something in the fire code that you believe needs further explanation, please click here to suggest a codeword interpretation.  Be sure to include the specific fire code reference for which you need an interpretation.
